Intro for the first "Short Film"

I got one of these awesome tablet, it was pretty complicated at the beginning, but I'm loving it more and more for every second i draw with it. So the first thing I did after I installed it was to start drawing the intro for the whole film I'm making, my plan was to start showing the sky and then scroll down to a small school, and I'm pretty happy with the result:

I thought the picture was pretty booring so I added a pedophile-dude, just outside the school. Sick? Well it's funny to me. I started to animate the sun, clouds and the pedodude so the whole intro scene would be more alive. My plan after this scene is to switch to the one in my last blog post, aka the classroom picture with the train, and from there I'll keep working with the first short film (Which is soon done eh). Oh and the voice for the Train has also been recorded by Emit (Oscar Öhrn).

New background for my upcoming short film.

As you can see on the picture below i decided to be one of those guys who thinks every picture you put on the internet will be stolen, and that lead to the "Bob Seibold Productions" alpha text, that's taking a nap over the picture.

Anyway, this background is actually from the first short movie (All my short movies will in some way be connected). If you can't see what it's supposed to be by looking at the photo I'll make a quick summary of it:

The picture is showing a train, in a kindergarden room. Oh and if you can't read the sign says "Career Day", you know that day when kids parents comes to their kindergarden to teach all the FUCKING kids about their jobs (or this is what I have collected from watching all these American movies.) Oh and one last detail, one of the wheels got a mouth and two eyes.

And that's pretty much it. I'm not gonna go deeper into the story, you'll have to see the short films by yourself when they finally comes up on the internet (within 2 weeks, eh).

First!

Okey, so today i decided to start a new Flash project, or my first flash project for that matter. And remember that my skills in Flash are very restricted, but that will change, I hope.

Ait, so I pretty much just started Flash, and then the usual menu popped up, the one where you select what kind of Flash project type you want. I had no clue at all what to pick, but a quick google search later and I decided to go with Actionscript 2.0. Anyway I just started to draw the background, and then work my way from there. While I was painting the background I thought about what type of movie I wanted to do as my first project. Since I'm pretty much new to this I pretty much decided to have 3-5 short movies as a first project. So I kept drawing my backgrounds for the first short movie.

Above here you can see the first screen dumps (Click the pictures for a bigger Version) of the background from my first short movie. It took me more than a couple hours to come up with this poor, non-detailed background. The background is wide as hell, but it's supposed to be scrolling in the actually movie.

Oh, and that pink dude is actually the main char in this short movie, and my plan is pretty much just to do some random shit with him. Anyway that's it for the first day. I'll come with more updates as soon as possible.

Oh(Again), the blog looks like shit, if you haven't noticed, that is.
